Hello there everyone! Upon agreement of rainbowdash (the man who originally came up with the idea) I have decided to coordinate the "First Annual Oppo Secret Senna"!

For those of you who don't know what Secret Senna (santa) is, allow me to explain. The basic premiss is that you get the name and address of another oppo member. Then you'll send a present worth 5-10 USD$ or so to them. Then you'll receive a present from the oppo member who got your name.

Now let me explain how it's gonna work. If you want to participate you can send me an E-Mail at Alex7302@gmail.com with your name, state, country, zip or your country's equivalent. After I receive your e-mail I will send you a confirmation E-mail. If I don't respond within 24 hours of your e-mail send me another one. I will be accepting emails till December 5 at 11:59 PM or 23:59 Central Standard Time or detriot time. On december 7 by 11:59PM I will e-mail you the info of the person you'll be sending your package to.

Now international shipping can be expensive so for that purpose I will try my best to keep the people exchanging gifts in the country and if not in than with neighboring countries.

Now we do have some opponauts in places where there are few other opponauts. So if you want to be a beautiful human being and volunteer to ship overseas it would be wonderful. If you do volunteer to do this I would tell you what you would be looking at spending before accepting that person. However in general if you're shipping nearby, plan on spending 5-15 dollars on shipping, depending on the size of your item.

Now this is not all flushed out yet but I wrote all of this on the spin bike at the gym on my iphone. I'll be revising it later however I will be accepting emails effectively immediately!

Update! We already have about twenty people signed up! Also I'll be posting this in the morning for those people over in weird time zones! Now if you'll excuse me I'm going to try to write a paper about Mr.Darcy from Pride and Prejudice. Try at least, it'll probably just end with me watching anime.

Do you think you could draw up a questionnaire form thing so that we have a better idea what to get? I'm thinking it would include sex, age range, favorite car or brand, and other things like that that would help give us a better idea what to get.

Sweet, I think I'll do it then. And you should make a note that if anyone has Amazon Prime that you can ship to anyone anywhere in the country and still get free two-day shipping; I ship stuff to my sister's and brother all the time using Prime.

Not yet, I've been a little busy with my psychiatry/neurology and pediatric exams this week, so all I've been doing is lurking, studying and running a few eventual laps on Race to see if I can go a full race without wrecking, but I'll look it up. Going to have a list the list people's emails have my mom randomly choose one then send an email to that person with message I pre-wrote. After she's done she'll cross the person's name off of the list and with 25 or so people I really won't notice who got deleted.

I think I'll have to sit this one out this year. Though I'd love to participate, November was a rough month for sales so finances are uber tight- to the point that even $10-$15 is irresponsible spending. Maybe next year, though! :-)

I'm ashamed to be so late to the dance and without a partner. I saw these Secret Senna posts appearing and thought, "That's interesting." Buuuut, the realities of our financial situation this year (wife and I just had our first, a baby girl, one month ago) mean that I can't play this year.

Buuuut, I'll be playing next year. So I really, really hope this Secret Senna movement gets, keeps and builds momentum because I really think it's about the sweetest, most community minded thing I've seen online in literally years and years.

I love you, fellow (and she-fellow) Opponauts. Next year, I really hope I can show it with more than words.
